After a successful junior riding career, winning both the ASPCA Maclay and USET Talent Search-East, Peter attended Yale University and spent one summer riding professionally in Switzerland. After graduating in 1996, he showed sales horses for Sam Edelman at S&L Farms in South Salem, NY. Soon after, he started a new training and sales stable with business partner Mary Manfredi. Since then, he's trained such top riders as Kelly Tropin-Whitridge and Brianne Goutal-Marteau.

Peter's show ring successes have included top performances nationally and internationally. As a trainer, Peter has coached his students to championship honors in the Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation divisions at the country's best shows, including Wellington International, The Hampton Classic, Old Salem Farm, Devon, and East Coast fall indoor shows.
